About JDP Physiotherapy

JDP Physio offers 1:1 Physiotherapy within the comfort of your own home. We offer assessment and rehabilitation services for self-funding clients. In addition, we also treat patients on behalf of case managers and solicitors for anyone with complex neurological or vestibular needs.

 

We pride ourselves on trying to get people as independent as possible. As a result, we do not require you to book a minimum number of sessions and there is no obligation to book a follow-up review after your initial consultation.

Where do sessions take place?

Supporting people of all abilities to access private physiotherapy is important to us. As a result, we offer:​​

  • Nursing/Residential home visits

  • Online/video consultations

  • Clinic appointments

  • Sessions in local gyms/leisure centres

How much do we charge?

Pricing of sessions will vary based on how long the session will take, and if additional travel fees are applicable​​

  • Follow-up review 45 or 60 minutes

  • Travel up to 1-1.5 hours considered

My Experience, Qualifications and Training

Working for two large major trauma centres allowed me to complete area specific rotations within the Neuro and Vestibular speciality. Each rotation was a minimum of six months and included:

  • Traumatic Brain Injuries 

  • Neurosurgery

  • Neuro Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

  • Stroke

  • Neurorehabilitation

  • Neurology

  • Neuro and Vestibular Outpatients

  • Inherited Metabolic Diseases

  • Facial Palsy Rehabilitation

Areas of Speciality

In order to deliver evidence-based rehabilitation and maintain HCPC accreditation, regular training and development is required. Some of the more recent courses that I have attended include:

  • FTSI Facial Palsy Course

Training and Development

Professional Memberships

Physiotherapist/Physical Therapist is a title protected by law and is regulated by an independent body; only those with the appropriate qualifications and ongoing training/development can maintain registration with the HCPC. The professional bodies that I am a member of are linked below.

During my time at St George's Hospital in London, I had the opportunity to work with some of the UK's leading Clinical and Research Physiotherapists, specialising in Neurological and Vestibular Conditions. They provided regular training and education throughout my time at the trust.
